TOOTH JEWLERY TOOTH GEMS
Tooth Gems are high quality Crystal, Opal or 18k gold designs that adhere to a tooth’s surface with medical grade equipment. No drilling and pain free. Tooth gems may be applied to real teeth only (no veneers). Tooth gems are temporary, they can last anywhere from 3-12+ months. They will not cause any permanent damage to your teeth, and can be removed easily and painlessly by a dental professional. Plus, they are beautiful to look at and will add a sparkle to your smile!
Questions everyone asks about Tooth Gems:
WHAT ARE THE AGE REQUIREMENTS?
I apply tooth gems to individuals to those who are 18 years old and older. Or 16+ with parental consent. Please be ready to present a valid ID at the time of your service!
CAN I FEEL THE GEMS ON MY TEETH?
Initially, something on your tooth will of course feel different, but a few days after the application you will get used to the new feeling. The jewels are only milimeters thick.
CAN I BRUSH MY TEETH NORMALLY?
YES! you will want to maintain your dental hygiene, ut please refrain from using an electric toothbrush for at least 24 hrs. You don’t want plaque to build up around the gem over time with poor oral hygiene. Unfortunately, the bonding agent will only attach to natural tooth tissue. the bonding agent will not work on veneers, or fake teeth.
WILL TOOTH GEMS HURT ME OR MY TOOTH?
The procedure is 100% painless. When properly placed on a natural tooth, the jewelry will not damage or harm your tooth in any way. If you happen to swallow a tooth gem, all tooth gems are either made from tiny glass crystals or gold with no sharp edges. It will come out naturally!!
WHAT IF I HAVE INVISALIGN?
Sadly, No. If straight teeth are important to you, invisalign would be placed on your tooth & would not fit with the gem on your teeth.
CAN I STILL WHITEN MY TEETH AND GET REGULAR CLEANINGS?
You can still have teeth whitening done, but make sure you are careful using the mouthpiece or tools needed to properly complete the treatment. If it's an at home teeth whitening kit, there should be no issues but make sure to clean properly before & after. Routine dental care is a must, and if you ever need your tooth jewelry removed, you will see a dental professional to buff off the gem and any residual residue left from the bonding agent!
